Sponsor a
Rohingya Child to Become a Hafiz
A Little Bit About Us...
BASMAH is a premium humanitarian organization dedicated to empowering Rohingya through education, care, and community development. In partnership with ICNY, we sponsor and support Rohingya children in the USA, providing them with quality education and holistic care.
Our programs include Qur’an Hifz, strong academic education, Qur’an classes, Islamic studies, and youth development workshops, designed to nurture faith, character, and leadership.
With over 1.3 million Rohingya living in overcrowded camps in Bangladesh, access to education remains extremely limited, putting an entire generation at risk. BASMAH is committed to preventing this by building future leaders and educators from within the Rohingya community.
Currently, BASMAH operates four branches in the United States serving Rohingya, working toward a stronger, educated, and self-reliant generation.

The Prophet (saw) said: “The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it to others.” [Bukhari]
Around 258 million children across the world are denied the chance to go to school. War, poverty, displacement, and the loss of parents have stolen not only their education, but also their dreams. Many are forced to work just to survive, and without education, the cycle of poverty continues. Even more painful is that countless children are growing up without access to Islamic education or the Qur’an, leaving them disconnected from the faith that gives identity, strength, and hope. Supporting a child’s Qur’anic and academic journey is one of the most meaningful forms of charity—one that transforms lives and earns lasting reward. The Rohingya community now stands at the edge of becoming a lost generation. BASMAH refuses to let that happen. Through a visionary program in the United States, we are combining strong academics with Islamic education to raise confident, faith-driven children—future leaders who will uplift their community and carry hope forward.
